Explore Amsterdam by walk - part 2

Shopping in Amsterdam:

Hand painted Dutch houses arranged to form a traditional Dutch street

Well Shopping for souvenirs and chocolates are a must before ending your Netherlands trip. The most popular ones are the Shopping streets of Damrak, Damstraat, Rokin and the Kalverstraat in the city center and the P.C Hooftstraat and the Van Baerlestraat. Another place where you can shop is the Amsterdamse Poort.

Dam Square:

Down from the Central had a walk into the Damrak Street to the Dam Square and was amused to see the Small Amusement rides set over there a few days back was completely empty, which made the view of the Grand Palace and the Nieuwe Church perfect.

Walking back late in the night sighted the view of the Damrak canal lighted up with its mirror on the water. It was an amazing view. A perfect way to end the journey of Amsterdam.
