Twice every year the Horticulture department comes up with a unique and creative way to depict the nature, culture and heritage of our country with flowers. This time the highlight of the show was themed based on one of the most popular Kannada poet of all time, Rashtrakavi Kuvempu. A tribute in flowers was offered to Kuvempu at the 205th Lalbagh Flower Show held from August 4 to 15, 2017. Floral arrangement of Kuvempu's house The epicenter of the Glass house of Lalbagh was decorated with over 350,000 Dutch roses and carnation flowers to re-create Kuvempu’s house at Kuppalli in Shivamogga district.
