Having visited almost every year since 2010, Lalbagh flower show has become more of a tradition for me. The 207th flower show at Lalbagh was dedicated to the legend of Lord Bahubali. This was in-vision with the upcoming 88th Mahamastakabhisheka at Shravanabelagola. The 10-day show from January 19-28 is a tribute to Lord Bahubali and his teachings.
In total four Bahubali statues were in display inside the Glass house with floral decorations using Hypericum, Waxflower, Anthurium, Oriental lilies, Protea, Purple Dendrobium Orchid and Rose. At the center stage was the replica of Indragiri Hill with a 15-ft statue of Bahubali over it, behind this a statue of Bahubali made of Millets was on display, on either sides were the 18-foot tall replica of the logo of Mahamastakabhisheka 2018 and a Bahubali statue in standing pose.
