After three years I visited the flower show at Lalbagh, much
of it was not changed. This time it was the Floral Bengaluru Palace which was the main attraction, rest was not much noticeable.
The ten day show is set to be open from 7th Aug till 16th Aug.

The floral replica
of the Bangalore palace was made with 2 lakh Dutch roses. It measures 45 feet length, 35 feet height and 20 feet
width.

The Statues of the Mysore

Apart from the main
attraction the Glass house was decorated with many different flowers including the
Orchids, Pinks, phlox, Dahlia, Daisy, Tube Rose, Paper Flower and there were
also a lot of new variety of flowers displayed at the show including Pansy,
Swan RiverDaisy, Ultra Miniature Rose, Calibrochia, Cone Flower and the
miniature nursery models created by Krishnendra Nursery. The depictions of
vertical farming were also highlighted in this bi-annual show.

The food grain art designs by Shivanna was also displayed at the glass house, this time it was images of Basaveshwara, Mahatma Gandhi, and Indian flag, and images depicting messages about Female infanticide and Save trees.

At the Bonsai Garden
few steps away from the Glass house, was put up a life-size Vegetable elephant created
by HOPCOMS using tomatoes and capsicums, which was another attraction.
